We visited Bruisyard Hall and Barn after a recommendation from my sister-in-law and as soon as we visited the venue, we knew that it was going to be a special place to hold our wedding.

The barn was beautiful, (the best that we’d seen so far) rustic but modern and clean and spacious! Then we went up to the hall and it was stunning! The beautiful and large living spaces and gorgeous bedrooms stood out to us as a wonderful place to spend our wedding with our closest family and friends. There was no doubt, Bruisyard was the ideal venue for us!

We had the most wonderful wedding weekend there, arriving on the Friday to set up for the next day (it was SO good that we didn’t have to set up on the wedding day itself) and then heading up to the hall at about 4pm to prepare for our family and friend’s arrival. We had a gorgeous evening there, with delicious food supplied by the kitchen, and were able to enjoy the beautiful garden on a warm and sunny July evening.

As for the wedding day, it was perfect from start to finish. Ruth and Ellie were on hand to help with anything we needed, but in truth everything was so well organised that there weren’t any issues and everything ran very smoothly.

All of our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it was and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The setting is outstanding, the organisation was impeccable, the food delicious, the bar well-stocked and well tended (important!) and having the outdoor space on a sunny day just made it so special.

In the build up to the wedding, Ruth was always on hand to answer all of our questions from the big to the very small.

Thanks Bruisyard. We had a truly wonderful day!
