As soon as we pulled up to the Bruisyard estate we knew that it was special. We'd seen several other venues that hadn't been quite right but Bruisyard felt different. The barn was warm and filled with light, the house was modern yet elegant and the surrounding countryside was stunning. We knew that this was where we had to have our wedding!

One of the main attractions was being able to stay in the house for a whole three nights. No rushing around the morning of the wedding to get to a venue and no early check out the next day - perfect!

Due to covid we had to postpone our wedding by a year but Katie and the team were excellent at keeping in contact and were always quick to answer any of our questions.

The day itself was perfect. It was a cold but beautifully sunny late winter's day and the barn looked magical lit up by fairy lights and candles. All our guests remarked on how beautiful the venue was and how lucky we were to find it.

Another thing worth mentioning is the quality and choice of food. The portions were generous and the food itself was delicious. We feel very lucky to have found such an amazing venue as our wedding day was everything we'd dreamed it to be. Hopefully in the future we can return and stay in the beautiful house for another celebration!
