We had planned to visit a few venues but as soon as we drove up the driveway to the spectacular views and surroundings, we just knew that this was going to be hard to beat.

As it turned out we didn’t need to look any further. Walking round we just knew that this was where we wanted to spend the weekend with family and close friends and have the perfect wedding we had always wanted. The team were brilliant from the offset given the postponement due to COVID, a tough time to navigate but we were constantly reassured.

The whole vibe of the barn and the beautiful backdrop of the countryside was the relaxed wedding we had wanted. Ruth was brilliant in helping guide us through the planning process of the day and the entire weekend. Nothing was too much, and she was a reassuring face throughout our time spent at Bruisyard.

The hall was a fantastic place to stay. On arrival it was just wonderful seeing all our friends and family walking around finding their rooms, gasping and saying how unreal it was. It felt lovely to have them all under one roof. They all commented on how spectacularly taken care of we all were over the entire weekend. The team were incredibly friendly.

We had a BBQ the night before which was the perfect start to unwinding and just being able to spend quality time ahead of our big day. The day whizzed by as we knew it would, but it was just so special knowing we had another day spent with loved ones to extend the celebrations. A day of lawn games and food was just perfect.

We are wanting a 10-year reunion however everyone is constantly trying to think of something ahead of that as it is just something we all want to experience again.
